A Note to My Kings: You Don’t Have to Struggle in Silence

I can only imagine the pressure of the world as a man.

Every day, society tells you to “man up,” stay strong, and hold it all in. But carrying everything alone is heavy, and many men are silently battling depression, stress, and unhappiness. How do I know this as a female? I’ve grown up around men with all struggles from drug addiction like my father to misery , financial instability and more and I know how it knocks their confidence and throws them off path in life. I’m very close to my brother and in being close I’ve grown to understand the side of men a lot of women don’t see and understand. Regardless of this, Anyone who sits in my chair knows I empathise uplifting every man that sits in it, I want the best for anyone that puts a penny in my pocket. By sewing a seed into my business I hope you prevail in life and that investment comes back to you.

Anyways , If this is you, I just want to say: your struggles are valid, and you don’t have to hide them because you are a man. You deserve peace, happiness, and a safe space to be yourself. Looking after your mental health doesn’t make you weak—it makes you powerful. Please, look after yourself beyond the physically but internally. I’m here to speak to , while I gain qualifications in therapy and counselling here are options for support ;

You are not alone !

Getting your hair done is more than a service, that transformation from homeless to handsome is enough to boost your mental health , confidence and more trust me

How I want anyone who books with me to feel after leaving the shop:

  • Waking up with purpose

  • Feeling proud of themselves

  • Having the energy to show up for your goals, family, friends and career

Just like you take care of your body, your hair, or your career—your mind also needs care , your appearance is what you carry on the inside too.

A lot of men don’t know about support being out there or are ashamed etc

There’s places that want to help you ! It’s not talked about enough so I’ve added some below :

And for those struggling with career support especially after uni or whatever the case is, I’ve also attached places of support as I know a lot of pressure in life comes from not knowing your next step in life and feeling stuck career wise , I’m still struggling with that myself as established as I look.

1- National Careers Service – Free advice, CV support, and career planning. Visit here

2- Jobcentre Plus (DWP) – Local employment & benefit support. Search for your nearest branch in Belvedere/London.

3-Prince’s Trust – Opportunities, funding, and training for young people (16–30). Explore here

My final words to anyone that made it this far ❤️

Your mind, your voice, your overall life matters.

The strongest thing you can do when you are at your lowest is reach out, talk to people , and take steps ! The devil wants you to suffer in silence

And remember, when you sit in my chair [TT da Loctician] , it’s not just about your locs , it’s an investment to your future self

Healed, Happy , Handsome and Here.

Let’s keep uplifting each other ❤️ TT
